Because we wish our guests that special PLUS on their holidays in our South Tyrolean mountains, we GIVE you the Suedtirol GuestPass Almencard as a PRESENT! This card is your ticket to wonderful adventures on the 30 Alpine pastures in our mountain pasture region.
Available free of charge as Edelweiss-Guests for the duration of your stay. This guest card enables the following services:
- Free use of South Tyrol’s public mobility (trains and buses) all year round including the cable car from Rio di Pusteria to Maranza, the cable cars Bolzano-Renon, Postal-Verano, Meltina-Vilpiano, the tramway on the Renon, the funicular up the Mendola.
- Participation in the weekly programme of the ski & alpine pasture region Gitschberg Jochtal/Rio Pusteria
In addition, the following advantage with free mountain cable cars:
Summer 2025: One daily free ascent and descent of the "Nesselbahn" mountain cable car on the mount Gitschberg and the Jochtal mountain cable car in the following period: Monday, 15 September 2025 up to and including Sunday, 2 November 2025.
Summer 2026: One daily free ascent and descent of the "Nesselbahn" mountain cable car on the mount Gitschberg and the Jochtal mountain cable car in the following periods: from Thursday, 14/05 until Friday, 10/07/2026 inclusive & from Sunday, 13/09 until Saturday, 07/11/2026 inclusive.
During the summer season, when the lift facilities are not included, you can choose attractive multi-day ticket options (for a fee):
- 3 in 6 days ticket: use of the Gitschberg and Jochtal cable cars on 3 days of your choice within a 6-day period
- 6 in 12 days ticket: use of the Gitschberg and Jochtal cable cars on 6 days of your choice within a 12-day period
10% discount on tickets purchased online or at the ticket kiosk.
